Is it normal to have hunger pains? My after care packet says I won't feel hungry or thirsty but my stomach feels hungry. 

I'm 3 days post op my after care paperwork says I won't feel hungry for the 1st few days but I feel hunger pains like when you haven't eaten all day and your stomach is empty. I mentally don't feel hungry but my empty stomach does. Did anyone else experience this?
