100 lost

I hit 100 lost this weekend. Elated is a good word for my feelings. Still going strong, I have the best support network. My coworkers and friends and of course family are amaizing.
School Shopping

I went shopping for school clothes last Friday. This was after my mom and I spent hours going through my closet and dressers of clothes. It's amaizing how much you can compile over a period fo time. I'd keep things assuming I woould fit into them again. And they just kept staying around. I emptied out the room of 4 large bags of clothes. Then the trick was to go shopping for things that fit without spending too much money. I have some things from the Barix group that were given to my brother Norm which has been a great start.
We headed out to hit the goodwill stores around me. We hit 4 of them. I got myself into size 20 pants. They are a bit snug, but they go on and I know in a few weeks they will probably fit perfectly. That was pretty fun. I seem to do better with dresses and skirts lasting longer my problem is I don't care to wear them often, but I guess to start off the year this year I will.
I was working in my room a bit yesterday and saw several people at school I haven't seen all summer. I got lot of complimnets and one very serious look up and down from a coworker who I know but am not close with. I think he was surprised but just didn't know what to say. I just kind of smiled to myself and kept moving. So far this has been great, I hope to keep up the good work and meet my christmas goal of wearing on Christmas eve to church an outfit I haven't worn since college. We'll see.

2 months out

As of Saturday morning I was two months out of surgery. When I got on the scale Friday morning I hit the 50 lbs lost mark. I'm so excited. I had set a personal goal to lose 50 before I went back to teaching school this fall and I have reached even earlier then I thought so I'm so pleased. I also swam on Thursday for 45 minutes straight without needing to break or having any difficulty breathing. Things are going well and I'm pumped to keep them going that way.
