I went to Lisa today and got a pleasant surprise by getting to see my other buddy Lisa H. Lisa S. is doing great and was talking and sitting up in the bed. She had a little problem this morning getting the correct food and amount but thanks to Lisa H. the dietician was straightened out real quick. When I left her she had just had a shot of pain meds and I wanted to let her rest. She will probably be released tomorrow!

i talked to lisa twice today and she sounds so much better!!! she passed her leak test but hates the broth up there. lisa has been up walking and she said it really hurt but made it through anyways. if all goes well she will get to go home tomorrow.

Ditto to what Lisa H. said! I am so very happy for Lisa that she came through the surgery and is doing fine. I am very happy they were able to do it lap. I went to the hospital today and didn't get to see her, but did see my buddy Lisa H. My husband and I will go to visit Lisa tomorrow night and either myself or Lisa H. will update you on how she is doing!

lisa had surgery today--took 3 hours--recovery was 3.5 hours cause they were waiting on a room. surgery went great, was alittle difficult but was able to finish lap!! once she got to her room she was only complaining of back pain. should have her leak test in the morning and if all goes well should be able to come home friday afternoon. i am so happy for her & so glad she is on the post-op side safely.
