Slow going
Apr 18, 2014
I guess I'm still in the three week stall? Went for a check up and was only down a pound. Doing everything my doctor said ( well except exercising and well, that could just have answered all my questions). Its only been a month since surgery. Still healing?
Pants fit even if the scale hasnt moved

So either I have a scale that over the years of abuse doesn't work OR I'm not losing any weight at all.
I can get jeans on comfortably that just a month ago I couldn't even pull up over my knees. Not cool skinny jeans but still jeans!
I keep reading about the 'three week stall' after surgery.
I hope this is what is going on. I would hate my poor attitude of "of course I would be the one person surgery didn't work for" to be correct. Eternally optimistic! :)
First time posting to my blog.

I have been lurking OH since the beginning of the year. All of the comments and questions have really helped me. I thought it was about time I started writing.
I thought that my long wait of approx. 7 mos. was a long time, but I'm seeing that's the norm.
I had my surgery March 12th and am now 8 days post op. I had a revision surgery, band to bypass. I had no fears of pain or the surgery going in. The surgery was smooth and other than the CO2 build up in my body that made me feel like a helium balloon I really didn't have much pain either. What I did and still do (mind numbingly so) fear is failing at this.
Is it normal to feel so insecure this early in the game?
