I am 37, God has blessed me with a wonderful husband and two wonderful girls that are 7 and 9.  I have always been overweight, if I did manage to lose I would gain it back plus some.  My husband was injured at work 6 years ago and was left disabled.  Four years ago, I tore my achillies tendon since I was the only one working I had to try every option other than to take time off for surgery.  After 1 1/2 years I finally had surgery.  I had gained over 100 pounds during that time of very little mobility.  The extra weight was just too much on my knees and back it's been 4 years since I was able to walk more than a few feet at a time.  I have now gained 50 more pounds on top of the 100.  I finally stopped working.  I just can't go anymore.  My knees are totally gone.  I had a surgeon tell me that he could get me out of my pain with my knees that they needed to be replaced.  He then said "but I wont do it, because you will wear them out in 4 to 5 years, that the only answer for me was gastric bypass.  I started praying about it and doing research and I am excited and praying that I can have the surgery.  I really feel like it is my last hope.  I want to play with my girls, they don't remember me being able to walk and play..... that hurts so bad.  I pray that one day soon I can play with them, help my husband around the house volunteer and do more for our church.  I know God is in control and He is going to help me turn my life around.  THANK YOU JESUS!
