Hi Margaret... I am interested in meeting with the doctor and seeing if I am a candidate. I am not sure if I meet the weight requirements. My BMI is 36. I believe I have sleep apnea, but I have never seen a doctor regarding it. Was just wondering if there is any type of advice you can give me. Thanks

How are you doing now Margaret? I'm just getting started with the whole process. My friend Patty had this surgery 2 1/2 years ago and she is doing great. She is 68.

WELL I'M FINALLY POST OP YEAH THE GAS EVERYONE TALKS ABOUT WAS NOT TO BAD FOR ME I FELT LIKE MY INSIDES WERE RAW. DR COIRIN IS A FANTASTIC DR. HE WAS THERE EVERYDAY TO MAKE SURE I WAS DOING LIKE I WAS SUPPOSE TO BE. I CAN'T TELL YOU HOW FANTASTIC 3RD FLOOR NURSES ARE. EACH AND EVERYONE OF THEM WAS GREAT. BEEN HOME A WEEK NOW AND THE ONLY COMPLAINT I HAVE IS I'M EXHAUSTED. WENT AND GOT SHOTS TODAY FROM SONJA TO SOON TO SEE IF THEY WORK. I'VE LOST 16 LBS SINCE THE 15TH. ANITHESIOLOGIST DR FLUENCE IS ALSO SOMEONE I KNEW FROM BEFORE SURGERY HE DOES SPINAL STENOIS WASTER BATHS. I WAS HAPPY TO SEE HIM CAUSE I KNOW HE'S GOOD.

I have 3 day's before surgery and am really nervous. Some of my medical information hasn't arrived yet so Im hoping to keep my date.
