UPDATE: I just came back from a 2 week vacation only to know that Bren had undergone a third surgery to correct the build up of scar tissue that forces the closure to the opening. I spoke to her yesterday and she said her doctor told her it was a 10,000 to 1 that this can happen. She is at her dad's home, just outside of Salt Lake. Her husband, Dave, had no choice but to return home after the last events that has happened in the 7 weeks after her first LAP. He has stood by her side through all of this. She had found a jewel when she choose this man, that's for sure. She will have to keep the tube down her for the next few weeks. She has to use a machine the doctor set up for her, away from the hospital, in which she is fed liquids. Bren is trying her best to think positive. Her spirits are low, but she's hanging in there like the trooper she is.

My dad is there with her and both are trying to hold up. I am told that she is having a real problem with scar tissue forming abnormally. We all are praying for her wellbeing. UPDATE: Dave, Bren's husband, called to say all went well and Bren is Okay. Unfortunately, Bren had to have a second Lap. It turns out her problem was scar tissue had closed off the opening, thus, causing her to not be able pass anything through. She has loss quite a bit of weight already, but that was certainly done the hard way.

UPDATE: Bren called this morning from her local hospital. Unfortunately, she has had, yet, another set back. Bren hasn't been able to keep anything down since a week ago today. Her home town hospital is to small and was unable to help her outside of giving fluids. She, and her husband, Dave, will fly back to Salt Lake City in the morning. It's up in the air as to what her doctor will do. It's possible, she said, they may have to do the Open RNY to see what has caused this problem. My prayers are with my dear friend as I'm sure all of yours are, as well.

UPDATE:AOL knocked me out just as I was posting my update. We'll try it again. Bren, unfortunately, did not leave to hospital when thought she would. She had some complications with a blockage. Thanks be to God, and her Doctor and nurses, she is now in stable condition. Thoughtout the whole situation Bren held on like the trooper she is and all is well. She is, finally, on her way to full recovery. She is to call me when she gets to her Father's home. I will update that information to you all, as well.

I spoke to Bren and she is as well as one can be after surgery of any kind. She is due to be released from the hospital today. She will then have that long drive back to Idaho. I have faith she'll do well with that, too. I'm sure you will be hearing from her shortly. I am so happy for her.

Please accept my apology to all and Bren for the misspelled words. My fingers seemed to have a mind of their own today.
