Best of luck Girl. Don't forget to walk, and then walk some more! You are making a good choice but it can be difficult at times. Be sure to ask for help when you need it and take good care of yourself.

Nancy, Warm healing wishes to you on your upcoming big day! I just had my surgery on Dec 31st and I have done wonderfully from day one.No problems with much surgery pain, I just had a bad backache. I only used pain meds for the day of surgery and the morning of the second day, and NONE since. I had clear liquids the second day after I passed the swallow test and have had no problems with anything. No nausea, nothing. I can even have coffee! My phone number is 651-456-5480. Nancy, I am sure that you are now busy enjoying your prep....yuk huh...but someday you will know that this was all worth it. I am 5 months out now and feel wonderful and you will too.
