I have a date set for lapband (10/29/08), but I have reflux and take Protonix, therefore my dr is requiring me to have an EGD (camera down my throat) and then we'll know for sure if I can have lapband.  I can't get the EGD till 10/23/08.  I'm on HMR shakes right now (day 3), I pray the EGD goes well, because I'll have done all of this for nothing if it doesn't.  I've been to the seminar, support group (Walk From Obesity) and had all the labwork and a visit with the dr - all requirements are met plus an ultradsound of my gallbladder.  Just down a little I guess...I've been following along on the site, the posts are really helpfull.
