Well I haven't been here in a while and it looks like my old profile info was deleted. But in short, this surgery was the best thing I have ever done for myself! I'm so lucky! No complications at all!!! I had my surgery Sept 28, 2004. I love my surgeon Dr. Ali and all the people at Smart Dimensions in Fountain Valley ( Dr. Leports office) Even though I need to follow up!!! I have been so blessed! I have a new outlook on life. I was always a happy, upbeat person anyway ( even when I was heavy) I always try to find the good in life. And I love it. I do have to admit I was embarresed by the way I looked at 309 lbs. I never got on the dance floor. Now I can really move! I love to dance & go out all of the time!!1 I have also met the man of my dreams..... I'm the happiest woman! He also lost 100 lbs. He did it on his own with diet & excersise ( lucky guy) He keeps me going! We share meals and try to make good choices for food. I have the best family support. My sister also had the surgery a year after me and we have lost a couple hundred pounds together.
I LOVE LIFE!!!
