Thank you for all the wonderful posts. I have been on vacation and haven't seen many of them. It's one week back at work and then my surgery at 7:30am on August 9th. I'm very excited, but I don't think it has quite sunk in yet that it is a week from tomorrow. I'll bet it will sink in Sunday night for sure! ;-)

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey.
