6 Month Diet

My Endocronologist gave me a referral to a Bariactric surgeon. I got the packet and filled out the information. It has been mailed back to them.I can NOT meet the surgeon until I have been on the 6month supervised diet, for 4months..after the 4th month visit I can then schedule to meet the surgeon and then begin the other tests that are required for approval.
To begin the diet, I meet with the dietician April 27, to see what the required diet is..this then begins the 6month process. Seems like a long time to go through before getting approval.
