I am a 21 year old student from a smallish town in AL. I've been overweight for almost my entire life, and went on my first diet when I was about 6. I even joined Jenny Craig at the ripe old age of 13. I have been on and off so many diets my entire life, that I decided WLS was my best option.
I'll be done with my insurance-required 6 month diet in the middle of April, and hope to have surgery during the summer. I'm taking charge of my life and I'm very excited about it.
Other than that, life must go on. I have a wonderful boyfriend and am half way to an RN degree. I love to read books, write, and travel (especially to Boston--my favorite place ever where I plan on living after graduation). I'm all about self-expression and being myself, no matter how weird that makes me seem, haha.
