"My first impression of Dr. Nye was that he's quiet, but thorough and also very nice. My impression did not change. His office staff is very outgoing and nice. The least thing I liked is going into his office and having no where to sit (standing room only). I would recommend anyone to see Dr. Nye for bariatric surgery. He stresses walking 2 to 3 hours after surgery as well as for the rest of your life. You must be sure to take multivitamins afterwards and get a B-12 shot once a month. He has a bariatric support group for post op,pre op, and those contemplating weight loss surgery. He explained the risks as well as having it in writing. I would rate him at 95% because no one is perfect. I believe surgical competence and bedside manner are both great.
