So close to a new you and so many emotions! I haven't had mine yet but am hoping for this summer. My thoughts are with you before,during, and after. Keep up with the posts. They do help. With each reply you get there are 10 others you have helped or touched in some form or way. Listen to your peers and mostly your Dr. and support group. they know what you need. I'll be watching for those updated posts!

Hello all! I went to my "NEW" internal med dr. on friday. It was a good visit. Had an EKG done in the office and it was normal. I was a little worried about that bc of my diabetes and my family history, but it was fine. I finally feel like I am getting somewhere. I am worried about this insurance thing. I am not real good at waiting for answers but I will just have to be patient like everyone else. My letter has not even been sent out yet, so I can't get impatient yet lol. I will be seeing a psych dr. hopefully this week cming up if I can get an appt and I will return to my internal med dr on Valentines day. I will probably see a dr about sleep apnea also. He will give me a test to see if I even need the overnite sleep apnea test. My i.m. dr. started me on Advir for my asthma. I am not relly sure if it is working quite yet, but i will ahve to give it a little bit. I want to thank all of you for supporting me. When I read my posts that you all ahve written I get a tear in my ear and a lump in my throat. Knowing that I am not the only one who has the same feelings,I am not the only FAT person in the world with a BIG heart is a great thing to me. Thanks so much for you support and I feel like family already! Nicole
