Hey Guys, just wanted to update you on my progress. I noticed some people were down today but I wanted to hopefully relate and encourage. OK SO....I am 11 days post-op. Everything went great and I had the best nurses and doctors at the hopsital. Well I get home and WOW!!! I WAS IN SO MUCH PAIN!!! 
I felt like every rib on my left side was crushed and when I moved I felt like everything in me shifted and ripped!! LOVELY!!! Someone else posted this but I too experienced the medical tape allergy! It irritated my skin so much I was going insane. As far as eating, I have really stuck to my orders and all is well but I was sooooo hungry yesterday and I am chalking it up to being mental hunger. I still have my drain in and all my incision staples which is annoying but the good thing is that TODAY I feel GREAT!!! 
I'm moving really well, my shower was wonderful, and I actually cleaned house a little. I have a much better attitude about my future and as of today I am down 27lbs (this includes the pre-op liquid diet). I will offically weigh in on Tuesday and really excited about it. I went through some depressive moments but like I said today I finally see the brighter side....the pain of it all is what got me. Anyway....sorry so boring but I too thought pretty negative about the whole thing and wondered if "I would be the only one the WL surgery wouldn't work for", but I'm not....IT WORKS.....and I'm FINALLY EXCITED!!!!

Ok FINALLY.....everything is good and ready to roll! Surgery date is Aug. 23rd.
