'twas the night before surgery...

well - tomorrow is the BIG day and the 1st day of the rest of my new LITTLE life! i can't wait! nerves still haven't kicked in apparently - i hope they don't! guess it's just the anticipation of the results to come later on. i have always,...and i mean always been bigger built. since like 6th grade i was in a size 18/20 womens plus size. i have always been tall also tho, so it helped somewhat, but didn't change the fact i was a big girl. and girls just aren't suppose to be as big as i had always been. i'm ready to be a "normal" sized lady now. i'm ready for a change!

me & my hubby are having VSG done the same day - 12/28. i'm going first at 10am and him next at 11am. i think this will be a blessing in itself - to have the love of my life going thru exactly what i'm going thru. we can experience it all hand in hand.

today's diet hasn't been too bad. our surgeon didn't make us do the 7-14 day fasts that some make patients do. ours is just liquids all day today (the day before surgery) then nothing at all after midnight tonight. so that was a good thing! we havne't had to starve ourselves in preperation for surgery. it's bad to starve a fat person anyways - even if it is for a good cause! ;)
