"I haven't met him yet. The doctor I thought
would be doing the surgery is moving out of
state. I am scheduled for a consult on 7/22/02. His nurse, Shannon, is very knowledgeable and personable on the phone. I am looking forward to meeting her
in person.
7/22/02- Met Dr. Galvin and Shannon today. Both appear very friendly. Dr. Galvin answered all my questions and put up with my out of the ordinary requests. He was very patient and didn't appear rushed or looking at his watch while he was talking to me.
8/22/02- UAMS is a teaching hospital. I don't know how I will react to a herd of residents discussing me at length, in front of me. I'll let everyone know how it went."
