Nicole, nice to meet someone in my own backyard who has the same surgeon as me!!! I live in North Raleigh and that drive to Louisburg for Dr Enochs is...well, I'll be nice & just say it's sooooooooooo looonnnnggggggggg.......I am having mine done this Monday Feb 23rd (my new BIRTHDAY). I found out today they changed it from an open to a lap...YEAH!!!! I will be at Rex Hospital. Being local,maybe we can do phone buddies...wishing you the best. Take care & God Bless

I was surfing my email account...the one I only check from time to time and upon it were a few messages from members here wishing me luck in my journey. First I want to THANK YOU ALL! Your encouragement means a lot. My update is really not that much to hold your breathe about but its something. I called the surgeon I have chosen today to get an appointment...but no return call as I got a voicemail system. My request for a referal to him was sumbitted and should be ready for me to pick up on Friday or Monday to my knowledge. I don't forsee there being a problem. I wrote a history on me and a request to my DR and no negative call has been made to me! But here are my most proud pieces of the update. I have slowly told a few friends about this and NOT ONE has been negative. I have told my sister in law and niece and they both said they would support me by going to my appoitments and what not! I was a bit nervous about telling my brother but he seemed alright with it...he is a man of little words so anything is something. My niece Michelle has been super supportive! It felt very good to tell people and even better to get positive results! I am going to start to do some moving and cut back on the butts between now and my first appoinment! That way when I am TOLD to do so it will not be a chore! Thanks to all of you again!
