Wow - how to begin - I am fat - I didn't start out this way - I was very petite my whole life and very small. I joined the Army at 21 and LOVED it - then I had my first child. While I gained weight, I was still relativly small. With the birth of my second child my weight balloned to 160lbs - still managable - I left the Army Joined AF ROTC and went to school full time ... my weight went back down and then in 2001 it started going up - and has gone up and up till now - I am at my all time heavest  - 200. While this might not seem like a lot I am 5'2 - My BMI is 36
I am having surgery for a few reasons - The number one reason in I have heart disease - A co-mobidity -
I am terrified of having a stroke. I want to be healthy -
I have problems with my feet, my heart and my stomach - I am tired of being fat and too tired to run - I want to play with my kids and I want my youngest son to see the real me, not the shell I live in now  -
