~~~HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE HERE AT OUR AMOS FAMILY~~~I am 4 months and 4 days post-op and have lost 81 lbs. I feel just great and the most important thing about having this surgery is the freedom to be myself-the real me! I no longer feel that I must stay quiet and be the person to do everything for other people. I now have the confidence and self worth that I always wished for, and life is GRAND. I have more to loose, but I know that I will reach my goal. I weight myself every two weeks and do not get upset if I am at a stand still. I just drink more water and get more protein in. I do my best to stay calm and think of this as a new way of life for me. I now take the time and look at life differently, and am enjoying every minute. My problems are still here, but are just much easier to deal with after this sugery. I would also like to SAY A SPECIAL THANK YOU to all the people who post with updates and comments. I still read here everyday and enjoy your posts. I wish you all, no matter where you are in your journey, the best and a safe journey. DO NOT GIVE UP-----
