VSG

Jun 06, 2009

I am thinking more and more about the vertical gastric sleeve. Firstly, because it cost less and secondly I like the fact that there is very little malabsorbtion...I dont want to possibly end up with vitamin defieciencies(or possibly worsen it). The weight loss between the too are pretty close depending on the persons ability to stick to the porgram, and i am pretty disciplined when it comes to something i am passionate about...and I DO WANT TO BE HEALTHY so i know i will stick to it. also it can be coverted later to any of the other surgeries. I have found doc who have performed plenty of the procedures and are cost friendly(between 9100-18000) I also have been researching mexico i am not too convinced about going there but i have been talking to people who've went there and things were great, but i feel safer in the states. It is a big commitment to make and i want to make sure i'm doing the right thing..i am back to square one being self pay again so the cost is what is really gonna get me to choose..i dont want to get cheap surgery and have complications but i dont want to pay an extreme amount of money knowing i could get the same level of service with cheaper price ticket. So i will be doing more research but my time is running out i want to do it before the end of summer, but not to close to when school starts.  i will keep you posted
