My story is probably similar to everyone here. I just was tired of being tired! Thank the Lord, I made the decision to have WLS. My surgery is scheduled for 5/16/2008 (Lap Band). It has relatively gone fast - the entire process 2 1/2 months! God definitely had His hand in the mix. I was determined and said I would do this for me. I love fashion and became increasingly disappointed that I could not go to the "regular" stores. Not to mention having HBP and borderline diabetes. All this just because of weight. My motto is, if I didn't take the time to lose the weight, then I would have to make time for a doctor appointment. I was a slave to food and it showed.
