Hello everybody. I started my journey for weight loss surgery back in January 2009. I started out at the weight loss clinic at Southdale Hospital in Edina, MN. After six unsuccessful months (i actually gained weight), I transferred to the clinic at the University of Minnesota on July 16. Surgery was scheduled by august (pending weight loss goal being met). By October (11 weeks) i had met my weight loss goal of 60 pounds and will be having surgery on october 21. 
I am really looking forward to it and the challenges to come.
