Getting close to Surgery day

Well....It's getting close to the big day and I'm trying very hard not to blow my pre-diet. Everyone wants to take me out to eat of all things and to top it off...my surgery date is on my 55th birthday. I told my husband that just because I'm having surgery, doesn't mean that we can't celebrate it. The good part about it is that I know I won't eat any cake, but I will surely try to blow out the candles with alittle help from my kids. Another bandster friend told me that this was the best birthday present I could ever give myself! I hope she's right! I've got one the best doctor's in town.
