lol... i was approved about a week ago. Im so excited!!! i set a surgery date for May 16, 2011. I start my liquid diet May 1, 2011!!! I dont know how i feel about the liquid diet but i want to go into it with a positive attitude. i will be on OptiFast(vanilla, chocolate and strawberry). Here we go...

... was the worst thing i have ever had to do. lol. now, i really do hate complaining about anything pertaining to getting this surgery because i know that i want it so bad but idk. The barium that i had to drink was almost unbearable. It was like a 16 oz bottle. i was gaging all over the place. that stuff was definitely the consistency of paint and it stained like paint too. The woman told me that i was like the first person that she had seen react like that. But i knew she was lying because there was those white paint looking stains all over the place. Anyway, im glad its over. one step closer to surgery. By faith. Amen.

The waiting game

So my insurance approval request went in about 3 weeks ago and i am still waiting. The surgeon's office says that it usually takes up to 30 days for Tri-care to respond. I just pray to God that get approved. This has already been a three year process. I'm hoping to have surgery the second week of may when i get out of school. By faith. Amen.
