Robert Korn

"My mother had her WLS almost 1 year ago. Through her meetings I talked with Dr. Korn on whether he thought it would be good for me or not. He is so nice and put us at ease during my mother's WLS. She was a high risk patient and he was just amazing. He follows up on his patients and wants them to console in him about what they are feeling. Fears, concerns, and joys. I would definately recommend Dr. Korn to anyone in this area who is considering this WLS. "

St Lukes Hospital

"St. Luke's is good about preparing you for life outside the hospital, by having consultations with a dietician and nurse before you leave, no matter if their dietician is the one you have previously consulted or not. They give you a book about life before and after bariatric surgery, a therapy band, and guidelines for life at home after surgery. Some of their policies were kind of questionable, however. Only one person is allowed to visit the patient while the patient is in Pre-Op. Also, only one person is allowed to stay in the room with you overnight. The nurses seemed to be unwilling to make accomodations for two people to stay in one room. I also had to wait a full hour before I received pain medication on two different occasions. My boyfriend and I would tell the CNAs that I needed pain meds and they would tell us that they would tell the nurse. This resulted in the above situation. St. Luke's is okay, but they still need a lot of improvement."
