Hi all.  I need some advice.  I was diagnosed with Thyroid cancer 2/2015.  Had TT and RAI and the oncologist has discharged me.  All levels are suppressed as they should be per my endocrinologist.  I have contacted the local bariatric Dr. and he has said I need to be 2-3 years cancer free before he will consider sleeve surgery for me.  Has anyone else had to deal with this?  Has anyone had the surgery without having to wait that long?  I am so frustrated and really thought I had my answer.
