Does anyone else out there absolutely HATE the words morbidly obese?

I mean good lord!  Seriously?  As if obese isn't bad enough, you have to add morbid to it?  Does anyone else feel the shame associated with those words?

OK - here's my first post!  After months of jumping through insurance hoops I have finally been approved to have my surgery and it is scheduled for Monday, December 29!

I will be having RNY Gastric Bypass with Dr. Paul Enochs at Rex Hospital.

It's hard to believe this is actually going to happen!  I am looking forward to a new me in 2009!
