Struggling with being overweight for years and years, my story is the same as many. Diet, lose a little, gain it back. Do it again. Living in Puerto Vallarta and working with Dr. Joya and his team with various projects/patients, I saw people's lives change and thought IT IS TIME FOR ME TO DO THIS. No fun squeezing in the chairs at the movies, feeling lazy and blah, not being able to keep up with my grandkids....all that and more. So! After some serious talks with Dr. Joya, we decided the gastric sleeve was the best choice for me! So, on Monday, May 14, 2007 at 900 my new life began as I was wheeled into surgery. So far, so good!
