Hair loss already???

OKay, i am only 9 days post op, and i did notice my hair falling out before surgery. but, WTF??? Every time i run my hands thru my hair, i am losing 5-8 strands, from the root! Has anyone else had this happen? Ive been doing a pretty hard core diet for 3 months now, but could this cause hair loss already??? When can i start taking biotine?
DO you ladies have any other suggestions???
