"I had VSG on 03/14/09 with Dr. Aceves and I found everything that had been written about him and Dr. Compos to be true. He was very kind and compassionate, very attentive and very understanding. He repaired a hiatal hernia while I was under (I didn't even know I had) and of course, there was no extra charge for that. The hospital was very clean and very modern. No complaints. I did find some of the staff to not be overly responsive when asked for things (not pain meds as I really didn't have any pain). I or my husband had to \"remind\" them of our requests (whether a washcloth or emptying/measuring the urine pan in the commode). Nothing that doesn't happen in the States also, just didn't find that it was always 5 star service is all I am saying. Overall, it was a very positive experience and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to a family member. Take snacks if anyone goes with you as the hospital cafeteria is an \"order off the menu\" kind a place (no buffets or hot tables). No snacks to purchase anywhere close."
