John, I would like to share with you a prayer that was given to me just a few days prior to my surgery. The word "hover" stuck in my mind and gave me SO much peace before during and after that I want to share it with others. So here it is: May the Lord uphold you in His peace and may He hover over every aspect of the surgery and over your full recovery. When I got a visual of our Lord "hovering" over me during the surgery it was overwhelming. I already knew He lead me to WLS, but to also realize that He'd be hovering around the whole time like I said gave me a peace beyond understanding. Continue to rely in Him for He is the only answer. God Bless you John and my prayers for a successful surgery and quick recovery will be with you. In His Name, Denice

Hi Everyone, it is Me!. I did not have to be hospitalized for my diabetic ulcers on my leg. A "Wound Specialist" felt that if they did a special pressure wrap, it would help it to heal without putting me on complete bed rest. While in the hospital yesterday, I had the GreenField fliter implanted. I spoke with Dr. Schuhknecht's Team Leader today and will she should be calling me next Tuesday, July 22 with my date. I will make sure I update my profile and get the date posted. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers. I know that God is in control and His hand is upon me and Dr. Schuhknecht and his staff. John :-)
