I am the Coordinator for the Center for Weight Loss Surgery at Saint Clare's in Dover, NJ.
We are just getting this support group up and running and want to welcome everyone who wishes to join.
Our program opened in July, 2005 and since that time we have done over 830 surgeries. We are very happy with how things are going. Our patients are doing extremely well and have minimal complications.
Most of our patients lose about 110-120 pounds. Some patients have lost as much as 237! Sticking with the program is the answer to being more successful.
I, personally, have not had weight loss surgery, but became certified in bariatric nursing, so will be able to help answer questions and provide support as needed.
