I have been home 6 days from gastric bypass and I haave lost 12 lbs...yipeeethe only problem I had was lower back spasms and neck spasm, started in hospital with that fun bed and chair..got home and no matter what i did, i was so uncomfortabe..dr. Sprunger called me in flexeril on monday and less then 2 days  i was feeling much better..cant wait to fit into pretty clothes instead of my really big tshirts and pants i can't breath in...

I am so excited, my gastric bypass went off with out a hitch..was tuesday morning and got home 1pm today...i can honestly say I have had no pain, just sore in the ribs like I have been working out alot...I walked the nurses station every hour 4 times around and had no problem with water or anything...the fear of the unknown is gone and I am so excited for my future, I am so glad I made this decision to do this..NO REGRETS AT ALL, can't wait to watch the weight fall off...thanks for all the support from old friends, new friends and family...Patsy

I am suppose to be in bed now and up in about 2 hours but my mind is raising so freaking fast...actually am kinda calm,just clear liquids and that dang stuff I drank at 1pm that had me running to the toilet for about 5 hours..now dehydrated cuz no fluids after midnight rule..will be in LALA LAND at about 830am..check in at 630am..SO SO FREAKING EXCITED...GOODBYE 217 LBS

went to have my EKG and xray and blood work and last seminar...getting excited but a little nervouse

 yeaaa, I finally have a surgery date for May 3rd...so excited

I am getting closer to my Gastric Bypass and I am really excited..its like being pregnant, you know that you can't wait to have the baby but you are still scared..I know that i family and friends bacing me up and I know that I am a VERY STRONG PERSON...all the paperwork and apts are now done so all i have to do is ses d. spunger one more time..my goal is 100 lbs...I took myself off all the meds that the doctors trried to do me in with (and that was not easy, even if it was my choice) now I need to find an support group here in az and a buddy to work out with, I plan on getting a trainor and having my son zach help me since he is all into this...went to O LD NAVY with Christine and bought size 7 and 5 clothes..will have ALOT of clothers to get rid of...SO EXCITED,, WILL PROBABLY KNOW BY NEST WK. when my surgery is....PLEASE PRAY FOR ME and if you have time please pray for my sister for all her medical problems, i miss her so much..TATA

Hi friends,  just wanted  to let you know that  i am on my last leg of the tests of this surgery with DR. Sprunger, I am so excited, everything is going to be so differnt,   This kina reminds me of my firtst pregnancy, scared but excited..it should be done this month,   NO MORE FAT CLOTHES FOR PATSY,  I hear ''big butts' are in, well they kind have some of my butt anytime they want..ill pack it up for them...i AM 48 years and hope i can make friends with people going through this, would love to have a gym partner....just got to start my ''NEW LIFE" 

Tomarrow will be the start of my pre op diet, hello protein shakes and vitamins (for rest of my life) all my pre op stuff is complete and just waiting for my surgery date...I  AM SO SO EXCITED...
