"2-23-01 -- I met with Dr. Wongsa today, deciding to pursue this avenue after delays with the other program. He is very easy going and takes plenty of time to explain the procedure, risks, post-op eating and anything else I wanted to know. I liked that he offered so much information, not leaving it to me to ask questions.
7-8-01 -- While I would definitely recommend Dr. Wongsa do this surgery, he and I have butted heads about nutrition and the pace at which he expects me to lose weight. He does not like the idea of protein supplements and is of the opinion that, if you don't lose your weight in the first six months, you probably won't lose it at all. (He expects me to lose 160 in six months.) The end result is that I decided to find another doctor to handle my long-term post-op care."
