 Well I got on the scale this morning and I did it. 50lbs gone forever..... GO ME !!!!! 
I am so excited!

 I went to the doctor yesterday to get my first fill. I had lost 8 lbs since my last visit a total of 17 since the surgery. Dr Lowe and I felt that I was doing so good and not having any problems that he would not give me a fill. He said he expects 5 lbs a month and I gave him 8 so he was very happy with that, and so was I. 

I went to the Doctors today and he said I was healing good. He said I still had some swelling but I was worried because It would hurt when I would drink something so I though something was wrong and he said I have a small band and that I should already be feeling some restriction. The visit made me feel much better about the way I was feeling. Also I had lost 7 lbs since my preop visit. Yeah go me....

Well the big day is tomorrow. I am getting so excited. I wasn't able to sleep much last night. I know it is just the excitement. I know today is going to be a long day but than I will go to bed and get up really early. I have to be at the hospital at 5:30 in the morning. I have seen my Dr so much lately and I am so confident in him. I seen him for my pre op visit, than I went with my husband yesterday for his first fill and last night I went to a support meeting and he was there. There was so many others at the meeting that he had done and they where just praising him so I know I will be in safe hands. I will post on here how I did to let you all know. I received a call from the Dr's office today that I have been approved!!! I will be having my surgery on November 19th. I am so excited to get this started. I will start my liquids on the 5th and go to see him on the 5th also. Yea!!!

Well on Friday I got all of paper work taken care of and my 3 months with the nutritionist. Now the wait to see if I get approved. My husband got approved in about a week so maybe I will but, you never know. He has high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. I only have high blood pressure. I will let you know as soon as I hear and I get a date.

Ok so I have really already started. I have had 2 visits with the nurse and the dietitian already and will have my final one in 2 weeks. I have also had my syc evaluation. Next is weight for the insurance to approve and than have surgery. I am thinking I will have it sometime in November. My husbands is set for October 8th. He gets to go first.
