Hello everyone! I'm a 36 year old Registered Nurse who is starting the process for gastric sleeve. Roughly seven years ago I had the lap band and had a horrible experience, and before I was a year out I had emergency surgery to have it removed. I've continued to struggle with my weight and I actually weigh more than I did before the lap band. No regrets, and I sure am glad that thing is out of me. I've spent many years thinking that bariatric surgery was just not for me, mainly out of fear of complications, but once I heard about the sleeve I felt a little better about moving forward. I have a wonderful husband, two awesome kids, and a cute little doggy that need me around. Sooooo here we go again! Looking forward to healthier, lighter, happier future. See you on the boards!!!!
