2 Weeks since surgery
Jan 16, 2008
It's been 2 weeks now. I am feeling good. I am trying to keep up with all the liquids and vitamins and food etc.... It's a lot to learn all at once, but I am doing good. So far I have lost 19 lbs. It's exciting. I am such an impaitent person I feel like I should already be in smaller clothes and losing more weight, but I know it doesn't work that way. Anyway thats about it.
Ok finally updating

Alright after being denied by the insurance company. Then crying my eyes out. I sat back and said "wait this isn't me" I am a fighter and I am going to fight! So that I did! I went to my PMP and told him the situation I wanted every test imaginable ordered to prove my case. Thank God I have a great doctor who was willing to work with me. After doing the tests and a sleep study finding out that I have a cholesterol level of 458 and I am 26 and will need knee replacement surgery sometime. Also doing a sleep study and proving what I already knew that I have sleep apena. Now I have to go back and start using a CPAP. Anyway my dad helped me write an amazing appeal letter my doctor also wrote an amazing appeal letter. 3 days later I have been approved! I can't believe thats all it took. I wish I would have known all of this from the begining. It would have been a lot less stress, but thats ok I am here now. So now I am waiting for Monday to talk with my surgeons office to find out when I can have my surgery done. I am now excited and scared. It's a little more real now, but I have gone this far I will be damned if I back out now!
