A little bit more about me........not that anyone is going to be too interested. I am a single mom of two boys. Aaron is 12 and Eli is 9. I am a licensed marriage and family therapist. I am currently in Seminary at New Orleans Baptist theological Seminary. I have completed two year and I am looking at two more, probably---All in God's time! Not mine!
I have had weight issues since puberty. I remember being very thin before 13 then I ballooned. I have gained even more weight since my mom moved in with me. She is very good "cooker" ( like my boys say), and needless to say she cooks very good desserts. I DO NOT place blame on my mother it is me who puts fork to mouth.
I chose to get the lad band because I am so tired of being fat. It is a constant battle, you know the ups and the downs. Gain weight and loss weight. I have tried EVERYTHING. This is my last resort. I can't wait for the surgery.
