Hi Angela! Thank you for the kind and inspirational message. It means a lot to me as I get closer to my surgery date and my "new life". It never ceases to amaze me how people who are perfect strangers can come together in such harmony when they share the same things, their strive to seek a new life through weight loss and their love for our most precious Lord and Savior. Hi Angela, Happy (belated) Birthday! Was it the 9th or was it the 10th? Was it a special day? You are such a special lady and it truly should have been wonderful day. I too, rejoice in the love of someone special and she has seen me at my worst and still loves me. We need those precious ones to walk the journey with us, but more important than that relationship is the one we have with the Lord Jesus Christ. Your message to me was filled with wonderful quotes including the powerful ones from scripture. I especially love the one that follows: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart. I will be found by you, declares the Lord..." Jeremiah 29:11-14a (NIV) and "Jesus answered, 'I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.'" John 14:6 (NIV) "And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession-to the praise of his glory."
