Hi, my name is Peggy. I've been a member here for many years. I've been fighting with our health insurance for as many years! I have gotten more serious about fighting with our insurance the past 8-9 months and I was told on Friday I was approved for WLS!

I am fumbling my way around here trying not to screw things up too badly! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!
One day after my 51st birthday I got the phone call. I'll take a day late b-day gift any day. I'm scheduled for surgery 1 week after hubby and celebrate or 34th wedding anniversary. An eventful 3+ weeks! Don't ya think?!
Right now, I'm looking for people in the Arkansas area who is going through, has gone through or will be going through what I am. I know that I'm truly going to need the support of others getting through this. I'm already on emotional roller coaster: happy, scared, excited, petrified, so forth and so on. I have a couple of friends who have been through both Lap Band and gastric bypass, so they've been a blessing. I'm going to have Gastric Bypass.
So, anyone out there want to take on another person on their friends list???
