"My consultation with Dr. Roslin was on Thursday, December 5th. He seems knowledgeable and confident in this area. Based on his presentatiion, I feel like he prefers the RNY over the Lap Band. However, when I told him I was choosing the Lap Band, he did not give me a hard time. I've heard some horror stories about his assistant Katherine but I must've caught her on a good day. He spoke briefly about aftercare and I'm not sure if his aftercare is a structured program. He spoke openly and honestly about the risks related to both surgeries. I expressed a specific religious restriction and he was very accomodating. 04/03/03 - I have learned from my insurance company that I have been doing all the leg work. Even though my surgery is scheduled for tomorrow since they have just received everything needed, it can take between 24 and 48 hours to approve. Katherine dropped the ball. The insurance company also informed me that I was doing all the calling and no calls are registered from the doctor's office."
