SURGERY UPDATE

Surgery went very well. Dr V had to clean up alot of scar tissue from the lap band leak but he said once he got that mess cleaned up, the sleeve was a breeze. Surgery on Monday, March 9 at 9am and I was out of there on Wednesday by 11:00 am.  Was out of work until March 23. Had a great recovery. No problems at all. Usual tiredness and soreness.
I lost 15 lbs on my 2 week pre op diet. Lost another 15 as of today so a total of 30 lbs in less than 6 weeks.
Next appt with Dr V on April 6. Hopefully will get put on soft foods and work up to regular foods. I'm now getting in around
90-95g of protein a day. Trying to get in all my water but very hard to do. Walking on treadclimber and riding bike as time and energy allows. Hopefully will be able to start going back to the YMCA at lunch time soon.
