Hey Princess Splenda HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!!!!! It's amazing how much a year and some restaraunt cards can change things lol! Just had to say happy anniversary to you, as we had our surgeries only a day apart. It's been just amazing hasn't it. Congrats on all your success! Take care KatherineL

Hello, Princess Splenda. I FINALLY went into my surgery support page and noticed that you sent me well wishes prior to my surgery in December of 2004. I never got notified because I had not updated my email addy. MIBAD??? Anyway, I just spent the past hour reading your entire journey thus far. It was fantastic. I never had so much fun reading a profile. You kept your sense of humor on top of all the drudgery you had to go through for your joureny. KUDOS to you. Thank You for your welcome. I am hoping for the same outcome as you. I am just starting this procedure , i'm not sure how long it will take to get it done. I dont have all the documentation i need according to one clinics reveiw. I have BCBS PPO here in Arkansas and i understand they need 6-12mo. proof of care under a physician. I have been a time or two to get diet pills but other than that i dont have it. I have been receiving Phentrimine off the net for the past 5 months. I go to the DR Thursday for the joint pain in my knees, feet and back. Maybe things will go better than what i am expecting. I have been big my whole life, I hate the word "Obese", i havent weighed under 220 lbs since i was a young child. My heaviest was 280, current is 235. It is very hard for me to lose weight. Infact its nearly impossible. I can lose 50lbs then come to a complete stop. I get discouraged then i give up. I have 4 kids i want to be around for. My mother died when she was 43 that was 15 yrs ago. My grandfather died of the same things, diabetes, high blood pressure and heart failure. Several of my uncles have died of heart failure due to being overweight. I hope that my insurance will take all that into consideration. I'm sorry, i didnt mean to go running at the mouth so soon.
