So I'm currently around 117lbs down after about a year a four months. It's pretty surreal, I look back on pictures now and can't believe I was ever as big as I was. It always makes me laugh when people will comment on my weight with things like, 'Oh, I can see how you stay thin' or even things like 'You wouldn't understand you've never been this overweight.' PLEASE. Haha. People that I meet for the first time now are always completely floored when I show them old pictures. Oddly enough though, I still don't see a huge difference in myself, my body imaging definitely needs some correction. The other day I think I truly saw myself for what my size actually is now and it made me actually pause and stare at the mirror like I expected the image to get larger before my eyes, but no it stayed the same. I'm fit into a size 10 a few days ago. I don't think I can ever remember a time when I was a size 10, even when I was in middle school or elementary school.
It scares me a lot that I'm able to eat more now. I feel like I eat way better than I used to but I count every single calorie and feel so guilty if I 'indulge' in a small pastry at work or eat a bite-size piece of candy. It's become a bit of an obsession because it seems that while it's so hard to get rid of weight now, it's so EASY to put it back on. I also don't know if I'll ever be comfortable with my weight, or if I'll just want to continually keep pushing myself to see how far I can actually get down. Does anyone else ever feel like there isn't really a point where you'll just be satisfied with your weight and body? Maybe it's just my emotions flying. lol

Oh geez, I'm so excited.
I feel like a different person.
I have to say, working out at a gym really helps!
My personal trainer is one of my favorite people right now. (Maybe not when she's kicking my ass around the gym, but afterwards..)
I LOVE MY SLEEVE.
Before surgery: Pant size=24, Shirt size: 2XL, Current: Pant size: 18, Shirt size: Large YAY.

45lbs down!
Mar 09, 2010
It's been about 35 days since surgery and I'm down 45lbs. I'm sooo excited!
Yesterday was my 19th birthday, and it's funny to think that this time next year I could be 100lbs down!
Just as long as I stay away from the birthday cake! Haha, only had a small piece. (Obviously, that's expected. :P)
I'm so glad that I haven't had any issues with keeping food down and liquids, and I'm starting to feel normal again! YAYY.
How's this for random? Haha.

Three week stall currently. Up down up down with the same 1.5lbs. >.<
I wanna get losing again! :P
Also, I'm not sure if this has to do with the surgery or whatever but I am breaking out like no one's business!
I feel like I'm a freshman in high school.
Other than that and some really annoying irregularity, everything seems to be going reatly well.

Exercising!
Feb 20, 2010
So, my Mom and I got a membership at 24HR Fitness and I met with a personal trainer yesterday. I think I lost a pound of sweat in the process. Looking back on it today, the exercises didn't seem that intense. But at least I'm being active! I already feel more energized than before. (We'd been using the treadmill for the first week because we didn't want to use the machines wrong.) Also, I'm sort of glad to not be that sore today. Even though yesterday I was hobbling around like an arthritic old lady. The only thing that are sore are my poor stomach muscles. I guess I babied them A LOT the last couple weeks.
The only thing I'm finding that I don't like about working out is the water drinking restriction. I don't know if it's because I get too much air when I drink, but drinking really any amount of water makes me feel nauseous. I never actually throw up, and once I burp I'm fine. I did find however that if the water is super cold, I can drink more, and much quicker.
Oh well!
I don't know why I decided to ramble. :D
