Theodore Small

"I had gone to Dr. Small three years ago for laprascopic removal of my gall bladder. He was terrific, very kind, compassionate and thoroughly discussed the procedure and recovery. When I began investigating WLS I found out he was doing them and knew I would want him to do it. I went to a seminar he gave, spoke often to his assistant and the WLS coordinator in his office and continued gathering all the info I could.rnrnTheir process is to get you over all the hurdles before you even have your first consult. I saw the nutritionist, had the psych evals (I had to go twice, 1 month between), endoscope was done and the letters of medical necessity were gathered and presented to my insurance company. After three weeks they approved it and my consult was scheduled at which time my surgery was also tentatively scheduled. I was on a modified Adkins diet for one month and after a follow-up appt. my surgery was done 4 days later.rnrnI cannot say enough kind words about everyone in his office; they are terrific and really seem to care about your success."

Countryside Hospital

"Things could not have been better. Everyone I came into contact with was warm, comforting and encouraging. They seemed to be genuinely excited for me to have the surgery and told me to come back with pictures so they could see the results. I was trying to help them move from a table to the gurney because I was conscience about my weight (go figure!) but they told me to stop...they were trained and used to it and for me not to worry."
