"I am 11 days post-op for a Hiatal Hernia repare and Gatstric bypass. The overall experience was good not great. i had some complications after my surgery and was put in I.C.U. where they are anything but trained in bariatric care. I feel that my recovery was compromised by this. I also had a very hard time with depression after which they seemed to blow off. Care on the floor was great and the Nurses and CNA's would very good. the cafeiteria had some problems with what food I could have and sent the wrong food which in turned made me very sick. the people in charge of the bariatric dept. know there stuff but need to spread the word to other dep.s so they too can handle a patient if need be.The Surgion was wonderful as was his staff."
