At last, a chance

I have been overweight ever since becomming pregnant with twins at age 23. My sons are now 26 years old and I've managed to pack on almost 200 extra pounds over the years.
My story is the same that we read over and over again. Tried every diet, diet book, TV special kit, diet pills - everything. The only time I succesfully shed a significant amount of weight was with Fen Phen. Lost 85 lbs in 8 months, then when it went off the market, put on 95 in less than 6 months.
Quality of life came to an end rather quickly; about 7 years ago my knees started going bad, exercise stopped, and a cycle of chronic pain began. The more idle I became, the more weight I gained, the pain increased, and movement slowed even further.
3 years ago, my first grandchild was born, and the sun came out in my life again. I also gained a beautiful new daughter in law, and in about 5 months will have a second daughter in law. I have everything to live for.
It is with utmost conviction that I believe I can be succesful! I am going to shed this terrible burden and fly with my granddaughter! We are going to hike and jump rope, ride horses and swing so high we'll touch the moon with our toes!
8 more days to go, as I write this. From God's grace to my surgeons hands - I am very thankful to be given this second chance.
