So I haven't posted in a while because I think its so boring to write about me just going to the Dr for my insurance required supervised weigh in's. So that's what I've been up to for the past 3 months. Anyway, today I got the approval from my insurance company and I also got my surgery date. I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off of my shoulders. I'm still kinda in shock because it thought that i would end up being more complicated than it actually was. My surgery is scheduled for June 5. WOW!!

     So yesterday was my first official Dr. appt while on this road to having WLS. I had to meet with the psychologist and NUT. When the Dr came in, he was very nice and pleasant to talk to. He took his time and throughly explaind all the diffenent procedures to me. I went in with my mind set on having Lap Band but he wants me to also consider the RNY. He took his time and cleared up alot of misconceptions I had about the Lap Band both positive and negative. I am still excited about having the surgery but now I need to do a little more research on the RNY since I've only looked into having the lap band. I also came home a little more depressed than when I went in because I got weighed( with my shoes off) and it was more than I thought it was when I had shoes on. But since I'm on the road to fixing this, I shouldn't let it get to me that much.
